Associate Pharmacist

Apotheek Waaroost is a dynamic and modern neighborhood pharmacy in the rural village of Waardamme (Oostkamp), offering a personal approach and a strong focus on pharmaceutical care. Apotheek Waaroost is part of an international group of companies with expertise in the veterinary sector, providing a unique cross-fertilization between human and animal health.

To expand our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Associate Pharmacist.

What does this job entail?

As an associate pharmacist, you will work closely with the owner and the veterinary wholesale team. You will share responsibility for the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensure high-quality and safe pharmaceutical care.

Your responsibilities:

Dispense medications with clear and accurate explanations about usage, interactions, and side effects.
Perform and monitor magistral preparations (including veterinary).
Support the team with daily tasks.
Manage stock, follow up on deliveries, and monitor expiration dates.
Assist in maintaining accurate administration (prescriptions, third-party payment system, reimbursements, registrations, etc.).
Actively contribute ideas for promotions, campaigns, and initiatives to boost sales.

What do we expect from you?

You hold a master’s degree in pharmaceutical care.
You are a recognized pharmacist in Belgium (RIZIV number required).
You have a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a passion for customer-oriented care.
Experience in a pharmacy is a plus, but motivated starters are also welcome.
You are flexible and willing to adjust your schedule when necessary in consultation with the team.
