Our Corporate Services in HR, Finance, IT, Facilities and Purchasing play an essential role in this. To support the legal operations within Sasmeester, we are looking for a Corporate Legal (m/f/x).
Do you have extensive experience in legal support and contract management? Can you structure and follow up on complex cases, also in collaboration with external partners? And do you want to help build a solid legal organization within a growing group? Then we would be delighted to meet you.
What does the job entail?
As Corporate Legal, you will support Sasmeester in developing and monitoring the legal operations within the group. You will be responsible for managing and following up on contracts and agreements, guiding complex files, and ensuring structure, oversight and continuity within the legal function.
You will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing and following up on contracts and agreements
- Ensuring correct signing and compliance with contracts, where possible according to established procedures
- Following up on complex legal cases in collaboration with external partners (lawyers, notaries, advisors)
- Providing legal support for the incorporation and launch of new companies, both in Belgium and internationally
- Checking whether all required contracts are in place for new and existing collaborations
- Co-organizing and independently managing the internal legal department, with a focus on continuity
What do we expect from you?
- You hold a master’s degree (preferably in law)
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a (para)legal or in a legal environment
- You have proven experience with contract management and case follow-up
- You can work independently and maintain oversight in complex matters
- You work accurately, structured and discreetly
- You have an excellent command of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
